| The Tutor was recently purchased in 2008 by the Baugus Family. They are are a team of brothers who currently homeschool their children in Viriginia and Mississippi. Brian Baugus is a home school father of four. He is an assistant professor in the School of Business and Economics at King College in Bristol, Tennessee. He holds degrees in economics, finance, and business from George Mason University, Vanderbilt University, and McDaniel College. Prior to his academic career, he worked for the Maryland legislature as a budget analyst and in banking and consulting. He is married to Ildiko and they live in Abingdon, Virginia with their four children and wide collection of animals. Bruce is the husband of Tricia, the father of Nathanael and Bryant, and the little brother of Brian. Raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Bruce has lived in Maryland and Michigan for most of his adult life prior to his recent move to Mississippi where he now serves as Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary. Bruce holds a B.S. in Geography from The Pennsylvania State University, an M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from Calvin Theological Seminary. Prior to doctoral studies Bruce served as pastor of Bedford Road Baptist Church in Cumberland, Maryland. He is a frequent contributor to his sons' home education in a variety of ways. Ildiko is the wife of Brian and the mother to our four children. They have been homeschooling our children since they were born. She was born in the Netherlands and raised all over the world. They have been using mostly a Christian Classical form of schooling our children with a huge dose of Charlotte Mason principles. She is very excited to see The Tutor come back into publication and hope the changes that they have made will benefit the homeschool community. Tricia is the wife of Bruce and mother of their sons. She was born and raised in Pennsylvania and have now lived in four other states since marrying Bruce twelve years ago. They have enjoyed Michigan for the last six years with its beautiful beaches, pleasant summers, and white winters. They embarked on their homeschooling adventure three years ago, and have really enjoyed learning together.
